Super Green Smoothie
The pineapple and lemon add a tropical flare to this green smoothie. Pineapple is both anti-inflammatory and a source of enzymes, to help you break down food better.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups packed baby spinach leaves
1 cup frozen pineapple
3-4 ice cubes
1 frozen banana
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon hemp seed hearts
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Method
Add spinach, pineapple, ice, banana, almond milk, lemon juice, hemp seed hearts and chia seeds.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Pour smoothie into 1 large glass or 2 small glasses and serve.
