Super Green Smoothie

The pineapple and lemon add a tropical flare to this green smoothie. Pineapple is both anti-inflammatory and a source of enzymes, to help you break down food better.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups packed baby spinach leaves

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 3-4 ice cubes

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon hemp seed hearts

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Method

  1. Add spinach, pineapple, ice, banana, almond milk, lemon juice, hemp seed hearts and chia seeds.

  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

  3. Pour smoothie into 1 large glass or 2 small glasses and serve.
